Chamomile tea is one of the most recognizable teas on the planet. It’s renowned for its calming nature and beloved as a bedtime tea. Chamomile was used in Medieval times and by the Ancient Greeks and Romans as a cure for digestive diseases and sleeping disorders. Today, it’s a staple ingredient in natural cold remedies and is used to induce feelings of calm.
- Chamomile tea is a sweet herbal infusion that has notes of crisp apple. The body of the tea is light and airy. Chamomile tea is sunshiny yellow in colour and emits a fresh, slightly sweet aroma.

Basic Hot Chamomile Tea1. Boil water - Boiling water for tea is easy when you use an electric kettle with a temperature setting. Boil extra water to warm the teapot. 2. Warm-up teapot - Pour some hot water into the teapot and swirl it around a bit. Discard the water. 3. Put chamomile tea into the teapot and add hot water. Cover teapot and steep. 4. Strain chamomile solids and pour hot tea into a teacup. Note: Keep the teapot covered while tea is steeping to make sure the water temperature stays consistent. |

Hot Chamomile Tea With HoneyIngredients: 1. 2 cups of water. Instructions: 1. To begin making Chamomile tea Recipe, take a saucepan and start heating water on high heat. 2. Cover and place in refrigerator to cold brew. Use cool or room temperature filtered water. 2. Strain chamomile solids and pour tea into a cup. Cold-brewed tea is already chilled so adding ice is optional. Note: 2. Chamomile tea can be brewed and stored in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. Keep it covered in or airtight glass container or pitcher. 3. If you want to sweeten your chamomile tea, use simple syrup (half water, half sugar). Basic Fresh Flower Chamomile TeaIngredients: 1. 1 handful of fresh chamomile flowers (increase petal amounts for stronger tea) Instructions: 1. Harvest the fresh flowers by removing the entire flower head from the stem. Rinse the chamomile flowers in warm water and pat dry. Chamomile tea is best made using freshly harvested flowers. If necessary, it is possible to store flowers in the refrigerator for up to 48 hours. Wrap the petals in a wet paper towel and store them in an airtight container. 2. Boil water in a tea kettle or large pot on the stove. Always use pure or spring water and not hot tap water when brewing tea to preserve flavours. 3.
