This is popular in the Alps region of Switzerland, Germany, Nepal, and Austria where the chilly mountain climate and long skiing season make hot drinks such a necessity. A few sips of this will keep you warm on those snowy, chilly mornings.

Prepare Coffee- Divide instant coffee and vanilla evenly between two coffee glasses or cups. - In a small heavy saucepan, dissolve sugar in the teaspoon of water. Over medium heat, stir dissolved sugar until it reaches a full boil. - Immediately remove from heat and stir in boiling water. - Divide sugar mixture between coffee glasses. - Makes two (2) 6 oz cup of coffee. |
