Directions
Basic Iced Tea is easy to make and testy drink that you get a refreshing. That chilling tea takes less than 10-20 minutes. Enjoy this for flavoring your homemade basic iced tea (recipe below) or the ice!

Boil WaterIn a small saucepan, bring the 2-3 cups water to a gentle boil. |

Add Tea BagsAdd the tea bags, remove the saucepan from the heat, and cover. Steep for 5-12 minutes. [The longer you brew the tea, the stronger it'll get but it’ll also get more bitter. Don’t steep for more than 8 minutes to prevent this from happening. 5 minutes to be the sweet spot.] |

Remove Tea BagsRemove the tea bags without squeezing them (which would add bitterness) and discard. |

Cool- Pour the simmering water into the pitcher. Add the 6 cups cold water and mix and let it steep for at least 5 minutes. - Refrigerate the tea until cool. |
